Dr. Kamar\u00e1s Istv\u00e1n elk\u00f6telezetts\u00e9g\u00e9vel, szakmai ig\u00e9nyess\u00e9g\u00e9vel \u00e9s a k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9g ir\u00e1nti felel\u0151ss\u00e9gtudat\u00e1val szolg\u00e1lta a klubot \u00e9s a p\u00e9csi sport\u00e9letet. Kamar\u00e1s Istv\u00e1n, aki hat \u00e9vtizeden \u00e1t szolg\u00e1lta lelkiismeretesen a magyar labdar\u00fag\u00e1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A k\u00f6zmegbecs\u00fcl\u00e9snek \u00f6rvend\u0151, nagy tekint\u00e9ly\u0171 jog\u00e1sz 1934-ben B\u00e1csalm\u00e1son sz\u00fcletett, a labdar\u00fag\u00e1ssal Baj\u00e1n ismerkedett meg, majd a P\u00e9csi EAC k\u00f6vetkezett. Egyetemi tanulm\u00e1nyainak v\u00e9ge fel\u00e9 1958 letette a j\u00e1t\u00e9kvezet\u0151i vizsg\u00e1t. 1958-1972 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt p\u00e1rhuzamosan \u00edt\u00e9lkezett a b\u00edr\u00f3i pulpituson \u00e9s a z\u00f6ld gyepen egyar\u00e1nt. A serd\u00fcl\u0151, az ifj\u00fas\u00e1gi, megyei oszt\u00e1lyok fokozatait v\u00e9gigj\u00e1rva, 1963-ban lett orsz\u00e1gos kerettag. F\u00fajta a s\u00edpot az NB II-ben, 1966-t\u00f3l az NB I\/B-ben, v\u00e9g\u00fcl 1968-t\u00f3l az NB I-ben. 1972-ben v\u00e1ratlanul bejelentette visszavonul\u00e1s\u00e1t &#8211; a b\u00edr\u00f3s\u00e1g eln\u00f6khelyettesi kinevez\u00e9se \u00f6sszef\u00e9rhetetlen volt a j\u00e1t\u00e9kvezet\u0151i tev\u00e9kenys\u00e9g\u00e9vel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiatalon, m\u00e9g egyetemista kor\u00e1ban 1954-ben tagja lett a P\u00e9cs V\u00e1rosi Labdar\u00fag\u00f3-sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g Fegyelmi Bizotts\u00e1g\u00e1nak, majd 1957-t\u0151l a Baranya megyei Labdar\u00fag\u00f3-sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g Fegyelmi Bizotts\u00e1g\u00e1nak. 1979-t\u0151l az MLSZ 3. sz\u00e1m\u00fa fegyelmi bizotts\u00e1g\u00e1nak tagja. A Magyar Labdar\u00fag\u00f3 Sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g J\u00e1t\u00e9kvezet\u0151 Bizotts\u00e1ga felterjeszt\u00e9s\u00e9re 1971. janu\u00e1r 1-j\u00e9n a Nemzetk\u00f6zi Labdar\u00fag\u00f3-sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g nemzetk\u00f6zi j\u00e1t\u00e9kvezet\u0151inek t\u00e1bor\u00e1ba ker\u00fclt. T\u00f6bb nemzetek k\u00f6z\u00f6tti v\u00e1logatott \u00e9s klubm\u00e9rk\u0151z\u00e9st vezetett, vagy m\u0171k\u00f6d\u0151 t\u00e1rs\u00e1nak partb\u00edr\u00f3k\u00e9nt seg\u00edtett. Az akt\u00edv nemzetk\u00f6zi j\u00e1t\u00e9kvezet\u00e9st\u0151l 1972. december 31-\u00e9n b\u00facs\u00fazott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A j\u00e1t\u00e9kvezet\u00e9st\u0151l val\u00f3 visszavonul\u00e1s nem jelentette a sporttal \u00e9s a sportvezet\u00e9st\u0151l val\u00f3 visszavonul\u00e1st is. Majdnem \u00f6t \u00e9vig 1980-1985 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a P\u00e9csi MSC t\u00e1rsadalmi eln\u00f6ki tiszts\u00e9g\u00e9t t\u00f6lt\u00f6tte be. A Magyar Labdar\u00fag\u00f3 Sz\u00f6vets\u00e9gn\u00e9l k\u00fcl\u00f6nf\u00e9le sportbeoszt\u00e1sokat l\u00e1tott el (Fegyelmi Bizotts\u00e1g, Eln\u00f6ks\u00e9g). Hossz\u00fa \u00e9veken kereszt\u00fcl a Baranya Megyei Labdar\u00fag\u00f3-sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g Eln\u00f6ke, a Magyar J\u00e1t\u00e9kvezet\u0151 Test\u00fclet Eln\u00f6ks\u00e9g\u00e9nek tagja.
