N\u00e1dasdy \u00c1d\u00e1m 1947. febru\u00e1r 15-\u00e9n Budapesten sz\u00fcletett, \u00e9desanyja Birk\u00e1s Lilian opera\u00e9nekes, \u00e9desapja N\u00e1dasdy K\u00e1lm\u00e1n Kossuth-d\u00edjas rendez\u0151 volt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Az ELTE B\u00f6lcs\u00e9szettudom\u00e1nyi Kar\u00e1n angol-olasz szakon 1970-ben szerzett diplom\u00e1t, ezut\u00e1n 1972-ig gimn\u00e1ziumban tan\u00edtott. 1972-t\u0151l 2018-ig az ELTE BTK angol tansz\u00e9k\u00e9nek munkat\u00e1rsa, 1997-t\u0151l 2003-ig tansz\u00e9kvezet\u0151, 1997 \u00e9s 2000 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt Sz\u00e9chenyi professzori \u00f6szt\u00f6nd\u00edjas volt. 1994-ben lett a nyelvtudom\u00e1nyok kandid\u00e1tusa, 2006-ban habilit\u00e1lt, 2012-ben egyetemi tan\u00e1rr\u00e1 nevezt\u00e9k ki, 2017-t\u0151l professor emeritus volt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kutat\u00e1si ter\u00fclete: hangtan, nyelvt\u00f6rt\u00e9net, germanisztika, szerkezeti viszonyok a fonol\u00f3gi\u00e1ban. Tudom\u00e1nyos munk\u00e1ja mellett a nyelvi ismeretterjeszt\u00e9sben is akt\u00edv volt, ismeretterjeszt\u0151 cikksorozatokat publik\u00e1lt, el\u0151ad\u00e1st tartott a Mindentud\u00e1s Egyetem\u00e9n. K\u00e1lm\u00e1n L\u00e1szl\u00f3 nyelv\u00e9sszel r\u00e1di\u00f3s ismeretterjeszt\u0151 m\u0171sora is volt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
