Klasszikus zenei tanulm\u00e1nyait a sz\u00e9kesfeh\u00e9rv\u00e1ri zeneiskol\u00e1ban kezdte.<br>1970-ben v\u00e9gzett a Budapesti M\u0171szaki Egyetem \u00c9p\u00edt\u00e9szm\u00e9rn\u00f6ki Kar\u00e1n. 1970 \u00e9s 1972 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a Pest Megyei Tan\u00e1cs Tervez\u0151 V\u00e1llalat\u00e1n\u00e1l, 1971 \u00e9s 1973 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt az OSZK K\u00f6nyvt\u00e1rtudom\u00e1nyi \u00e9s M\u00f3dszertani K\u00f6zpontj\u00e1n\u00e1l dolgozott tervez\u0151 \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9szk\u00e9nt.<br>1989-ben a Liszt Ferenc Zenem\u0171v\u00e9szeti F\u0151iskola egyetemi \u00e1gazat\u00e1nak zenetudom\u00e1nyi szak\u00e1n is diplom\u00e1t szerzett.<br>\u00c9nekesk\u00e9nt \u00e9s zeneszerz\u0151k\u00e9nt 1969-ben mutatkozott be az Egyetemi Sz\u00ednpadon.<br>1971-t\u0151l 1973-ig a 25. Sz\u00ednh\u00e1z zeneszerz\u0151je \u00e9s el\u0151ad\u00f3ja volt.Szerepelt Jancs\u00f3 Mikl\u00f3s M\u00e9g k\u00e9r a n\u00e9p \u00e9s Zolnay P\u00e1l Fotogr\u00e1fia c\u00edm\u0171 filmjeiben.<br>R\u00e1di\u00f3- \u00e9s telev\u00edzi\u00f3 szerepl\u00e9sek mellett 1973 \u00e9s 1980 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a Vegyipari Dolgoz\u00f3k Szakszervezete Bart\u00f3k B\u00e9la amat\u0151r t\u00e1ncegy\u00fcttes zenei vezet\u0151je is volt. Bekapcsol\u00f3dott a n\u00e9pzenekutat\u00e1sba is, a N\u00e9pm\u0171vel\u00e9si Int\u00e9zet kutat\u00e1si oszt\u00e1ly\u00e1nak el\u0151ad\u00f3ja lett.<br>Ebben az id\u0151szakban vett r\u00e9szt a Kass\u00e1k Klubban is. Megszerettette a fiatalokkal az erd\u00e9lyi magyar t\u00e1ncokat, \u00e9nekeket.
