P\u00e1ly\u00e1ja azonban kor\u00e1ntsem indult k\u00f6nnyen: h\u00e1romszor is elutas\u00edtott\u00e1k a Sz\u00ednm\u0171v\u00e9szeti F\u0151iskol\u00e1r\u00f3l, k\u00e9s\u0151bb m\u00e9gis gener\u00e1ci\u00f3k kedvenc\u00e9v\u00e9 v\u00e1lt. Hofi G\u00e9za \u2013 eredeti nev\u00e9n Hoffmann G\u00e9za \u2013 1936. j\u00falius 2-\u00e1n sz\u00fcletett Budapesten. Az \u00e9retts\u00e9gi ut\u00e1n h\u00e1rom alkalommal is megpr\u00f3b\u00e1lt bejutni a Sz\u00ednm\u0171v\u00e9szeti F\u0151iskol\u00e1ra, de minden alkalommal elutas\u00edtott\u00e1k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A kudarcok ellen\u00e9re nem mondott le az \u00e1lmair\u00f3l. El\u0151bb porcel\u00e1ngy\u00e1ri munk\u00e1sk\u00e9nt dolgozott, majd katonai szolg\u00e1lata ut\u00e1n R\u00f3zsahegyi K\u00e1lm\u00e1n sz\u00edniiskol\u00e1j\u00e1ban tanult. Emellett a k\u0151b\u00e1nyai t\u00e9glagy\u00e1r amat\u0151r sz\u00ednj\u00e1tsz\u00f3 csoportj\u00e1ban is fell\u00e9pett, ahol egyre t\u00f6bben felfigyeltek kiv\u00e9teles humor\u00e1ra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1960-ban a debreceni Csokonai Sz\u00ednh\u00e1z igazgat\u00f3ja, Szendr\u0151 J\u00f3zsef szerz\u0151dtette, ekkor vette fel a Hofi nevet. B\u00e1r sz\u00edn\u00e9szk\u00e9nt kisebb szerepeket kapott, az el\u0151ad\u00e1sok ut\u00e1n par\u00f3di\u00e1ival sz\u00f3rakoztatta koll\u00e9g\u00e1it \u00e9s a k\u00f6z\u00f6ns\u00e9get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamar kider\u00fclt, hogy igazi tehets\u00e9ge nem a klasszikus sz\u00edn\u00e9szetben, hanem a humorban rejlik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1963-ban visszak\u00f6lt\u00f6z\u00f6tt Budapestre, ahol egyre t\u00f6bb \u00f6n\u00e1ll\u00f3 fell\u00e9p\u00e9st v\u00e1llalt. Az orsz\u00e1gos ismerts\u00e9get v\u00e9g\u00fcl az 1968-as szilveszteri r\u00e1di\u00f3m\u0171sor hozta meg sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra, amikor a T\u00e1ncdalfesztiv\u00e1l el\u0151ad\u00f3it ut\u00e1nozta ut\u00e1nozhatatlan st\u00edlusban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Macskaduett\u0151l a Hof\u00e9li\u00e1ig<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1967-t\u0151l Ko\u00f3s J\u00e1nossal alkotott sikeres p\u00e1rost. K\u00f6z\u00f6s produkci\u00f3juk, a Macskaduett<\/strong> \u00f3ri\u00e1si k\u00f6z\u00f6ns\u00e9gkedvenc lett, amelyb\u0151l k\u00e9s\u0151bb rajzfilm is k\u00e9sz\u00fclt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1970-ben csatlakozott a Mikroszk\u00f3p Sz\u00ednpad t\u00e1rsulat\u00e1hoz, ahol estjeire rendszeresen telt h\u00e1z el\u0151tt l\u00e9pett fel. A telev\u00edzi\u00f3ban is hatalmas sikert aratott, k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen eml\u00e9kezetes maradt R\u00f3zsa S\u00e1ndor- \u00e9s K\u00e1d\u00e1r J\u00e1nos-par\u00f3di\u00e1ja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koml\u00f3s J\u00e1nos hal\u00e1la ut\u00e1n a Mad\u00e1ch Sz\u00ednh\u00e1zhoz szerz\u0151d\u00f6tt. Itt mutatta be legend\u00e1s \u00f6n\u00e1ll\u00f3 estjeit, k\u00f6zt\u00fck a Hof\u00e9li\u00e1t<\/strong>, amelyet t\u00f6bb mint \u00f6tsz\u00e1z alkalommal j\u00e1tszott el.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
